Is this the world's greatest hole? Hole 16 at South Cape Owners Club
South Cape Owners Club is one of the new breed of magnificent golf courses emerging around the world. The dramatic landscape hugs the South Korean coastline, and provides a perfect setting for great golf.
The par 3 sixteenth hole is perhaps the most striking, and is playfully marketed as 'the world's greatest hole'.
It is a thrill to play.
South Cape is one of the world's great courses, no question..

Foot Volleyball at Miami Beach

Miami airport is a travel hub for travel in USA and South America. Miami Beach has good accommodation right on Ocean Drive, and endless entertainment with the hot rods cruising past. The beach is huge, but it was the skills of the foot volleyballers that really caught my eye! Fabulous!!
Heather knocks it close on the 17th hole at Miami Beach GC

Miami Beach Golf Club is well located minutes from the heart of Miami Beach. Visitors are welcome, and it is not expensive. Water and bunkers are constants in any game at Miami Beach. This clip shows Heather knocking it close..

Key Biscayne's third hole has completely different looks at the hole from the arc of tees in the trees. The ladies tees are relatively free of trees and water, whereas the men play through a chute in the trees and over the water to find the green.

Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne is an interesting course! The longish par 3 third hole is a standout hole with different tees set on an arc so that each tee has a completely different look and feel. Here Peter hits a nice fairway wood through the trees and over the water. See Heather's tee shot on the same hole next..
An island tee in a sea of sand! Hole 16 at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne's sixteenth hole.

Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne is an interesting course. We loved the multiple tees with completely different looks at the third green. And the elevated green on hole 8 was novel. The tee on 16 in a sea of sand was also cool.. Not so cool was the robber racoon who nicked our bags!
Robber racoon at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne

We were enjoying our round at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne, but made the acquaintance of a cheeky racoon trailing us around the course. We were aware he was trying to get to our food supply, and kept chasing him away. But he was patient and toward the end of the round he caught us off guard, nipping in and taking a bag with all our worldly goods in it- passport, wallet, phone etc. He headed str...

The spectacular new course at Point Hardy in Saint Lucia is one of the great courses of the modern era. The dramatic clifftop holes come one after the other, with lengthy ocean carries, and severely undulating fairways. It's an unforgettable experience!

Point Hardy GC on Saint Lucia is one of the most spectacular golf courses on the planet. The big finish at Point Hardy is particularly dramatic with hole after hole exposed to the sea side cliffs. In this clip Peter tees off over the sea from the 'high' tee on hole 17.

Point Hardy Golf Club in Saint Lucia is something very special. Designed by Coore Crenshaw the course has a series of spectacular holes along the coastline cliffs. With the wind blowing the caddies work overtime to give you information on carry, lines of play, wind etc. It is quite exhilarating! On hole 15 men tee off down on almost island tee at sea level. The target fairway atop the cliffs ru...

Point Hardy Golf Club on the island of Saint Lucia is perhaps the most spectacular ocean cliff top course in the world. I certainly am not aware of another course with these types of ocean carries in play. Here Heather hits the sixteenth green and sets up for a birdie putt. Point Hardy is an unforgettable golfing experience..

I love, "It's coming down." "It's in the water."
My home course!
Point Hardy is the most spectacular golf course out there

TW. Love it
Be a man. Use your wedges
Oh wow. No trees down the right anymore
There was a big clean out- it looks and plays really well
Such a cool hole. And so simple too. Barely any hazards- just, everything runs away
Great to see a very accurate factual representation of what transpired to make this utterly brilliant destination, and to change single handedly the course of Tasmanian and Australian golf. I had the pleasure of photographing all this and still have the original slides & transparencies we used to produce a coffee table book that helped launch Barnbougle Dunes on the world stage. Lovely to see Richard and Sally's dog Millie too - she used to follow me through the dunes as I took photos, until she darted off after a wallaby! Great memories and wonderful people.
I used to work for a company in New Jersey. There was a guy who lived within 1/4 mile of Pine Valley and I asked him about it. He said it was too exclusive to even think about it. Never stepped a foot on it.
This course looks unbelievable. I can’t believe that tee shot on 12. I’ve never seen anything like that anywhere!
Eric, it is spectacular golfing experience
Thanks for the video! Played it last year twice with a great friend.
Wonderful golf course, but one of the most exhilarating back nines you'll find!
Indeed!
Waterville? Lahinch? Looks like Ireland
Ireland is correct- Tralee Golf Club
Well guess what, the bicycle does not need the fish, either.
What are the prices for these courses?
So Baze, thank you for your enquiry- see: www.thetravellinggolfer.com.au/escorted-golf-tours/the-jewels-of-vietnam
Wow, fantastic mate. Can’t wait to play it
It really is something special
St. Andrews Beach, one my favorite courses in the world.
Too difficult for 98% of golfers. The golf architect and his ego ruined an opportunity for the majority of golfers to experience thrills, fun, and enjoyment. The course is a torture track.
Hi Blair, it sure is a difficult course first time around, but it does become a fun outing when you know where you are going. It is good course to employ a caddie first up.
what is the name of this anthem ?
Not an anthem, a MARCH.
The name is "For Flag and Empire."
The course is unbelievable also great video mate most underrated golf course I have ever played
Thank you good sir!
Course management; so many talk themselves out of a hole before they swing a club. Leave the ego at home
A lovely course plays it’s best in the winter when other courses locally are bit sticky !! A very good par have also had a few disasters on the 5th a cracking hole .
Yes, 'tis a great hole..
Did you play Flempton another fantastic nine holes just around the corner
I would love to play this golf course and this hole looks spectacular. 3w and a PW..... par!!! lol
The whole Mornington Peninsula is amazing for golf. Stayed there back in 2012 and played 8 courses, one of them being St Andrews Beach. Worth the trip!
A day at Lahinch is a phenomenal day! Hope you got to see the goats.🇮🇪🐐
Thanks Allan- we had a good day, and no goats!
The pictures/video just can't capture the size of the dunes and the elevation changes at Carne. Played it 4 days in a row this summer and want to go back.
I just played 6 rounds in 3 days there last month. Amazing golf course and just a great place in general.
Do not be fooled. Inside they are racist and humiliate their workers. Capable of the worst in order to make money. Horrible and illegal management.
I have worked at this club, they still owe me money. Inside, what people don't see is that they are extremely racist. I have suffered bullying in my workplace and lies are its calling card. What a shame it's run by despicable people.
I am fish a bike and a man As I am the fish that climbed the tree The bike is just an extention of me As is My Glass skin I am a jackalopterus Mammals eat mammals So I returned to arthropod
One of my favourite holes anywhere. It was early in the year, I was alone on the course, so I walked back to the tee box and played it twice in succession.
I reckon that is a great move!It is a special hole
Why the fk do these docco producers play invasive, stupid, loud music over the top of the narrator!!?? I turn them off quickly so I miss the real story
nice
yes, it's a lovely spot
Hope lunch was included in the green fee.🤣
#9 Ardfin
Correct- well done sir!
Very nice.. it's a special spot hey. Often of a weekday afternoon you can find the course to yourself.
Playing there later in the year for a golf trip. Thanks for the Overview
The video doesn’t show the beauty of this hole. Nothing like standing on the tee and barely seeing half the green. The wind blowing off the Atlantic makes the tee shot thrilling.
The 7th at Tara Iti is probably the best Tom Doak hole I have played!
Big call Brett! It is a great hole and my fave at TI, but how to compare with 11 at Pacific, 4 at Barnbougle..
The 4th at the Dunes teases you to have a crack but the wind is more often than not the enemy. Played with a Caddie last trip he straight away handed 5 iron. 7 at TI hides the fairway from you especially off the back tee and looks narrower and more difficult than it actually is if played smart.@@TheTravellingGolfer
Video could not have been less informative on the course
Thank you for your feedback
Te Arai links i reckon is the course i played it the day after it opened
Nice timing!
Where's this?
Ireland
'Promo SM' 🌸
The property looks simply stunning, and the setting looks fantastic. 🇮🇪⛳️
Indeed it is.
Maybe for you as players, at a management level it is horrible. Racist and despicable.
wow, this is my bucket list!!!
yes, it is a nice collection
Royal Melbourne you couldn’t play therefore rate?
@Quinny2863- Royal Melbourne did not qualify in this instance because it predates the modern courses we considered- great courses, though!
@@TheTravellingGolfer I played magenta shores 2 weeks ago and thought every hole looked the same and when the wind blows it’s super tough but boring same same every hole 🤔 and it’s ranked about 38 in oz
Loved Old Head. What a great golfing experience!
When was this made
pre COVID
No what date,month and year
@@rajm1915 I mean this happens like every other day in london and Windsor
Tom Doak is a joke.. he thinks he is a good designer. He gets great sites, on great soil. Even Stevie Wonder could design on those sites. Doak is cocky and hard to work with. He relies mostly on his shapers. His shapers are the true designers. Doak's courses are expensive to maintain.
